Exchange Rate

Here, in the Bahamas, the Bahamian dollar is on par with the U.S. dollar.  Although, exchanges through financial institutions may have a small exchange fee.

Cash / Credit Cards

U.S. bills and coins are accepted everywhere, as if it were Bahamian currency.  Credit cards are widely accepted, although a minimum purchase may be required.

American Express isn't as widely accepted as Visa or Mastercard.
